DISCOVER THE JOURNEY THAT LED ME TO WHERE I AM TODAY
I'm Janelle Hunt
My journey hasn’t been a straight path; it’s been a story of resilience, faith, and purpose. I’ve faced challenges that could have broken me, but instead, they built me. From overcoming personal hardships to navigating the complexities of a male-dominated industry, I learned the power of perseverance and the importance of trusting God’s plan.
Driven by a vision to inspire and empower, I pursued a career in technology, rising through the ranks with determination and strategic insight. But my purpose extends beyond my profession. I am passionate about helping women amplify their self-confidence, reclaim their personal power, and elevate their income to thrive in every area of their lives.
Through my coaching program, Choose To Elevate, I empower women to break barriers and embrace their potential. My journey isn’t just about my achievements; it’s about paving the way for others to lead boldly and live purposefully. I am here to show that no matter where you start, you can rise above your circumstances and create the life you were meant to live.

My Story
God began waking me up at 3:30 a.m. to pray in 2015, but I didn't understand it was God calling me. I grew annoyed because I was exhausted when it was time to get up for work in the morning. It went on for several weeks. I would sit and stare at the walls till I fell asleep every morning at the same time. Until one day I told myself, "Okay, since I don't know why I'm waking up at this time every morning, I need to Google it." I was on my way to work  in Alexandria, VA, when I conducted a Google search for "Why am I being woken up around 3:30 a.m. every morning?" There were few discoveries, but one stuck out: "God is calling you to pray." I said, "Wow, okay, well, I will try it tomorrow morning when I wake up at 3:30 a.m." The next morning God woke me up at the same time, so I began praying, and as soon as I finished praying, I fell asleep. I was no longer staring at the walls when God woke me up at 3:30 a.m. to pray.
So, in 2017, God began to deliver me repeated prophetic dream of how I felt while I was in a relationship with my abuser, and God proceeded to wake me up at 3:30 a.m. after every dream to write it down, not knowing it would be used for my book years later. If God wakes you up at the same time every morning, He is asking you to pray and calling you to work on your purpose. Find out what He desires you to do for His kingdom.
God sent me Book Title "Made On What I Know" in dream and that's when I knew He wanted me to write a book. I used the stories in my book from the prophetic dreams God sent me and I applied same strategies God told me use during my healing journey. Â

Why I Do It
I do IT to pave the way for the next generation of daughters to excel in Cybersecurity and beyond. I’ve walked the path of breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry, and I know firsthand the power of resilience, courage, and faith. My mission is to inspire young women to step into rooms where they once felt unwelcome, to speak with confidence, and to lead with boldness.
I do IT to shatter stereotypes, to challenge the status quo, and to show that women can thrive at the highest levels of technology leadership. I want them to see that their voices matter, their skills are valuable, and their dreams are achievable.
I do IT to empower women in management to rise above limitations, own their authority, and navigate their careers with confidence. I believe that women in leadership roles have the power to influence change, inspire teams, and elevate organizations. My goal is to equip them with the tools they need to lead authentically, communicate effectively, and make impactful decisions that drive success.
I do IT because every young woman deserves a mentor who believes in her potential, a role model who reflects her ambition, and a community that supports her journey. I am committed to empowering them not just to participate but to dominate, innovate, and lead with purpose.
I do IT because my journey wasn’t just about overcoming adversity; it was about creating a legacy of empowerment, courage, and leadership for the daughters who will come after me.
They deserve to see what’s possible, and I’m here to show them the way.
